The transverse moving device comprises a motor, fork comb vehicle carrying plates, gear racks, gears, chains and chain wheels; each parking space is provided with a fork comb vehicle carrying plate; the fork comb vehicle carrying plate is provided with the gear racks which are matched with the gears and transverse movement is realized through chain drive. A comb tooth type structure is adopted by the fork comb arms and the fork comb vehicle carrying plates, wherein the comb tooth of the vehicle carrying plates and the comb tooth of the left and the right comb arms are staggered and matched.
