Abstract

The invention provides a segmented phase-shifting outer rotor permanent magnet synchronous motor which relates to a permanent magnet synchronous motor and comprises a stator component and a rotor component. According to the outer rotor permanent magnet synchronous motor, a claw pole component is utilized for generating a stator rotating magnetic field; a squirrel cage guide strip cuts magnetic induction lines of a rotating magnetic field for generating an asynchronous starting torque, thereby driving the rotor component to rotate in a synchronous rotating speed in a traction manner. According to the rotor component, permanent magnets of which the number is one half of number of magnetic poles of the motor, rotor auxiliary magnetic poles which are formed through magnetizing adjacent rotor salient poles by the permanent magnets and a stator rotating magnetic field react with one another, thereby generating a synchronous torque. Two stator windings are centralized windings, thereby realizing high machining automation degree and low artificial cost. The outer rotor permanent magnet synchronous motor can be started in an asynchronous manner and has advantages of small number of the permanent magnets, high motor efficiency and low cost. Furthermore the segmented phase-shifting outer rotor permanent magnet synchronous motor satisfies a requirement for an energy-saving motor in an axial flow fan market.
