Problems solved by technology

For a UE, the interval between every two PFs is the Paging Cycle. Currently, the length of the Paging Cycle is at least 32 wireless frames, that is, 320ms. Obviously, this cannot meet the delay requirements in 5G.

Embodiment 1

[0188] Such as image 3 As shown, it is decided whether to use the Paging location determination method in the present invention according to UE capabilities and broadcast messages:

[0189] 101: The UE reports the ability of the UE to support the use of the millisecond-level Paging Cycle during the Attach (Attach) process or the Tracking Area Update (TAU, Tracking Area Update) process;

[0190] 102: The UE receives the paging information related to the Paging Cycle at the millisecond level and the paging information related to the legacy UE broadcast in a system information (SIB, System Information Block).

[0191] Wherein, the Paging Cycle unit at the millisecond level is set to a subframe (or millisecond), and its value range is 1, 2, 4, 8, ..., 320, 640, 1280, 2560, ....

[0192] 103: If the eNodeB finds that the UE capability does not support the ability to use the millisecond-level Paging Cycle, or if there is no millisecond-level Paging Cycle-related Paging information...

Embodiment 2

[0202] Such as Figure 4 As shown, according to the UE instructing the network side to use the millisecond-level Paging Cycle through the Attach or TAU process:

[0203] The UE receives the Paging information related to the Paging Cycle (including default Paging Cycle in subframe, nB, etc.) at the millisecond level broadcast in the system information (SIB, System Information Block) and the Paging information related to the legacy UE.

[0204] 201: The UE reports an indication that the UE uses a millisecond-level Paging Cycle through an attach (Attach) or tracking area update (TAU, Tracking Area Update) process.

[0205] 202: The UE and the eNodeB determine the position to monitor the Paging message according to the following method:

[0206] The paging position is the jth downlink subframe in the radio frame that satisfies the SFN in the following formula:

[0207] (SFN*i+j)mod T=(T div N)*(UE_ID mod N)

[0208] in,

[0209] i represents the number of downlink subframes ...

Embodiment 3

[0215] Such as Figure 5 As shown, according to UE reporting millisecond-level UESpecific DRX cycle in subframe through the Attach or TAU process, the network side is instructed to use millisecond-level Paging Cycle:

[0216] The UE receives the Paging information related to the Paging Cycle (including default Paging Cycle in subframe, nB, etc.) at the millisecond level broadcast in the system information (SIB, System Information Block) and the Paging information related to the legacy UE.

[0217] 301: The UE reports a millisecond-level UE Specific DRX cycle in subframe through a Tracking Area Update (TAU, Tracking Area Update) process.

[0218] 302: The UE and the eNodeB determine the location to monitor the Paging message according to the following method:

[0219] The paging position is the jth downlink subframe in the radio frame that satisfies the SFN in the following formula:

[0220] (SFN*i+j)mod T=(T div N)*(UE_ID mod N)

Abstract

The invention discloses a method for transmitting a paging message and relates to a technology of wireless communication. The method comprises the steps of determining a paging moment in a paging cycle, and activating the monitoring of the paging message at the paging moment; and receiving the paging message sent by a network side device at the paging moment, wherein the paging cycle is shorter than 10 milliseconds. Through utilization of a paging position determining mechanism of reducing the paging cycle to a millisecond level, the paging cycle can be shorter (even reduced to 1 millisecond), that is, the interval between positions in which a UE can receive the paging message can be shorter, the time required for wait when the paging message needs to be sent can be shorter, and the paging delay can be greatly reduced to a 1 millisecond level.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to wireless communication technology, in particular to a method and device for paging message transmission. Background technique [0002] In the fifth generation mobile communication technology (5G, 5th Generation) system, low energy consumption and low delay are important technical indicators, and the end-to-end delay needs to reach the level of 5 milliseconds (ms). At present, the UE (User Equipment, user terminal) in the LTE (Long Term Evolution, long-term evolution) system receives the data sent by the PDSCH (Physical Downlink Shared Channel, physical downlink shared channel) in the way of discontinuous reception (DRX, Discontinuous Reception). Paging message, UE activates PDCCH (Physical Downlink Control Channel, Physical Downlink Control Channel) and PDSCH (Physical Downlink Shared Channel) at the PO (Paging Occasion, paging occasion) of the specified PF (Paging Frame, paging frame, Physical downlink shared channel)...
