Abstract

The invention discloses a mica tailings aerated building block and a preparation method thereof. The preparation method includes: grinding mica tailings into 80um with lower than 20% of sieve residue, weighing calcium component, aluminum powder, enhancement component and assistant component to be mixed with the ground mica tailings, adding water, stirring, putting in a mold for aeration, demolding, putting in an autoclave for autoclaved curing, cooling, taking out of the autoclave to obtain the mica tailings aerated building block which is composed of the mica tailings, the calcium component, the aluminum powder, the enhancement component and the assistant component. Using amount of the mica tailings according to a matching ratio can be up to 70%; the building block has following performances: compressive strength of 1.0-15.0MPa, dry density of 300-1000kg / m3, drying shrinkage value smaller than 0.5mm / m, freezing resistance: mass loss smaller than 5% and heat conduction coefficient (dry state) smaller than 0.20W / m.K.
