The method comprises the following steps: determining whether a battery is fault or not by monitoring performance parameter of the power battery; when the power battery is fault, whether secondary diagnosis condition is satisfied or not can be determined; when the secondary diagnosis condition is satisfied, a fault power battery monomer is determined in the power battery; a battery module group of the fault power battery monomer is determined; according to the abnormal performance parameter of the fault power battery monomer and the performance parameter of the other power battery monomer in the battery module group of the fault power battery monomer, whether the power battery fault is the false alarm or not can be determined; when the power battery fault is determined as false alarm, false alarm is removed, and the false alarm of the power battery fault is avoided.
