Abstract

Provided is a wheel bearing device that prevents the development of resonance with components around a bearing portion while ensuring rigidity of the wheel bearing device, offering excellent vibration absorption performance and durability. An attenuation mechanism (14) is disposed at the center in an axial direction of parallel rows of inner rolling surfaces (1a, 2a) of an internal member (3). The attenuation mechanism (14) is provided with a metal weight (15) and an elastic member (16) having a predetermined thickness and covering an outer surface of the weight (15), with attachment portions (17) formed at both ends of the elastic member. The attenuation mechanism (14) is affixed with metal fastener bands (18) fitted on the attachment portions (17).
