The invention discloses a cross-linkable composition of an ethylene / vinyl acetate copolymer. The composition contains: (i) at least one ethylene / vinyl acetate copolymer, (b) about 0.01-5wt% of at least one unsaturated carboxylic acid, and (c) about 0.5-5wt% of at least one crosslinking agent, wherein the total weight percentage of all the components contained in the composition is 100wt%. The invention also discloses an ethylene / vinyl acetate copolymer film / sheet formed by the cross-linkable composition of the ethylene / vinyl acetate copolymer, and a solar battery component of a front packaging material prepared from the cross-linkable composition of the ethylene / vinyl acetate copolymer.
