Abstract

The invention provides a system and method for monitoring industrial field equipment. The system comprises an Android system application terminal, a Web Service server, an OPC server, a data transmission unit and multiple programmable logic controllers. The programmable logic controllers can control equipment dispersed in different areas of an industrial production field, and store the state and the motion time of currently happening motion and all other data. According to the method for the monitoring industrial field equipment, through the data transmission unit, wireless data transmission among the multiple programmable logic controllers and the OPC server is achieved, and is uniformly managed on the OPC server, thus the purpose that the Android system application terminal reads and writes data in the programmable logic controllers with high speed and in real time is further achieved, and thus the equipment in the industrial filed is controlled. Meanwhile, the system is flexible to operate, and not limited by regions, the number of the monitoring personnel can be drastically reduced, and the system and method are applicable to equipment monitoring in relatively dispersed geological locations.
