Abstract

The invention relates to application of trans-caryophyllene to a cyrtorhinus lividipennis attractant. The trans-caryophyllene is prepared into a mother solution through absolute ethyl alcohol; after being dissolved, paraffin oil or n-hexane is used for fields and a solution with the concentration is 10ppm to 10000ppm is used as the cyrtorhinus lividipennis attractant. Behavioral responses of adults of both sexes are determined through a Y-type olfactometer; when the concentration is 50ppm, the attraction rate on male insects reaches 36.67 percent; behavioral responses of young cyrtorhinus lividipennis are determined through an H-type olfactometer; when the concentration is 50ppm, the attraction rate reaches 48.65 percent. In a net house experiment determines, when the concentration is 500ppm, the attraction rate reaches 65.84 percent. In a field experiment, when the concentration is 10000ppm, the attraction rate on the young cyrtorhinus lividipennis reaches 37.16 percent and the attraction rate on adult cyrtorhinus lividipennis reaches 20.74 percent.
