Problems solved by technology

[0008] To sum up, the blade inspection system and inspection method of the above-mentioned wind power generator need to rely on manpower to remotely control the unmanned aerial vehicle 91 to ensure that the image captured by the camera 911 includes the complete blade 921, which makes the inspection process inconvenient and necessary. The problem of high labor costs, and the UAV 91 has the risk of colliding with the blade 921 during the inspection process

Abstract

A system for inspecting vanes of a wind turbine and an inspecting method thereof are disclosed for improving users' convenience for inspecting the vanes, reducing the cost of inspection and avoid bump between a UAV and the vanes. The system means for inspecting a wind turbine with a vane. The wind turbine has a rotation axis. The vane includes a first end and a second end, and the vane has an extending direction that extends form the first end toward the second end. The system comprises a UAV and an identification symbol. The UAV includes a controller and a camera coupled to the controller. The identification symbol is arranged on a surface of the vane. The identification symbol includes a banding symbol and a plurality of directional symbols. The banding symbol includes a first periphery and a second periphery parallel to each other. The first periphery and the second periphery both extend along the extending direction. Any two adjacent directional symbols are spaced from each other on the extending direction. Each directional symbol has a unique pattern.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the field of wind power generators, in particular to a blade inspection system capable of using an unmanned aerial vehicle to inspect a wind power generator and an inspection method thereof. Background technique [0002] Wind power generation can not only provide the electric energy needed for human life, but also take into account environmental protection and the development of renewable energy. The existing wind power generation device utilizes the wind force from nature to drive a blade to rotate, and the shaft work generated when the blade rotates to drive a generator to generate electric energy. The wind power generation device purely reuses wind energy to generate electric energy, conforms to contemporary environmental protection issues, can avoid vicious burdens on the environment during the generation and conversion of electric energy, and thus brings considerable economic benefits. [0003] However, the blades of wind...
