The two end surfaces of a cold-upsetting blank are smoothed and an upper chamfering outer conical surface and a lower chamfering outer conical surface are cold-upset at stations 1 to 2. The flange, a sleeve blank, a pre-formed hole in the formed flange, the sleeve and three inner holes are formed through cold-upsetting at stations 3 to 5. Waste in the three inner holes is eliminated through punching and the lantern ring is formed. Each of dies at the stations 3 to 5 is provided with an upper pipe driven by a punching core. The product can be prevented from retreating upwards during return, and is directly ejected out by a lower ejection needle or ejected out by the ejection needle and an outer push pipe.
