Abstract

The passive residual heat removal system is applied to a coolant main circulation system mainly composed of a reactor core, a circulating pump and a main heat exchanger and comprises an accident residual heat exchanger, a residual heat hot trip and a residual heat removal connector, wherein the residual heat removal connector and the coolant main circulation system form parallel connection relationship, and the accident residual heat exchanger is filled with a phase change medium and is used for vaporizing and absorbing heat when the temperature of a primary circuit rises to a boiling point of the phase change medium, so that decay residual heat of the reactor core is taken away.
