Abstract
The invention discloses a pull-up counting system based on image processing and a counting method thereof. The method is characterized by under conditions of a given horizontal bar height, a camera parameter and a shooting environment, according to a shot image sequence, using linear detection, face detection and skin color detection in a digital image processing theory to acquire positions of a horizontal bar, a face and hands; and for a detected correlation area, according to an image rotation invariant moment theory, calculating a zero moment and a first moment of a binary image, and determining accurate face and hand mass center positions and a face area; and then tracking and recording face and hand position changes of a whole image and image gray value changes of a specific area, and through programming analysis, calculating pull-up times of an athlete. Because a non-contact measurement technology is adopted, anti-environment interference capability is high. A position detection technology is mature and a counting error is low. A low computer performance requirement and short execution time are possessed. A rapid, reliable, accurate-counting and real-time requirement is reached. when athletes with different heights and different sexualities carry out test counting, a program does not need to be changed.
