Abstract

The present invention provides at least one terminal device and a scheduling method. The Attention (AT) command is used to control various functions of the Mobile Terminal (Mobile Termination, MT) and multiple GSM / UMTS network services from the Terminal Equipment (Terminal Equipment, TE) through the Terminal Adapter (Terminal Adapter, TA) . 3GPP introduces multiple backoff timers and barrings to solve the network congestion problem. However, the TE has no knowledge of the timer value and disable status. According to a new aspect, the present invention provides a new AT command interface that can send a timer value and a disabled status as a response to the TE. This will reduce unnecessary retries and save TE power consumption. Through this new AT command interface, the TE can query the state of the backoff timer. Through the Unsolicited Result Code (URC), the MT can detect the change of the state of the backoff timer, and report the updated state of the backoff timer to the TE.
