Problems solved by technology

However, in the traditional live broadcast technology, local coverage is used. Due to the inconsistency of the local porosity, particle size, water retention capacity, and permeability of the cotton field, manual or mechanical coverage is difficult to control to a consistent level, especially when the weather is unstable. Sow whole seedlings

Embodiment 1

[0022] Pre-broadcast preparation

[0023] Cotton seeds are relatively large and the seed shell is thick. When cotton seeds germinate, they have strict requirements on temperature, water, air and other conditions. Generally, they must absorb enough water equivalent to 60% to 80% of the seeds themselves to germinate. If the seeds do not absorb enough water in the soil, they cannot germinate; if there is too much water, the seeds and buds will rot. Cotton seed emergence requires that the soil moisture in the 0-20cm soil layer be 70%-80% of the field water capacity. When sowing, the surface soil is too loose or too tight, which is not good for seedling emergence. If it is too loose, it will easily disperse the soil moisture, making it difficult for the seeds to germinate when they are dry; if it is too tight, it will be difficult for young roots to pierce. The soil is moderately tight and well ventilated, which is conducive to germination, emergence and extension of young roots....

Abstract

The invention discloses a direct sowing method of full stand of cotton seedlings. The direct sowing method comprises the following steps: I. preparing before sowing; II. processing seeds; III. determining the sowing period; and IV. sowing: sowing at depth of 2cm-5cm, wherein the sowing quantity is 4-6 times that of left seedlings; after sowing, covering with new soil which is fine sand or loess or a mixture of fine sand and loess. Seeds are covered with uniform new soil after sowing, the emergence rate of seeds can achieve more than 95% through adopting various management technologies, and seedling is uniform and stable, thus facilitating the mechanical harvesting having higher standardization requirement.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the field of agriculture, and in particular relates to a direct seeding method for sowing whole cotton seedlings at once. Background technique [0002] Our province is the main cotton production area in the Yangtze River Basin. In recent years, the cotton planting area has gradually declined, the price of cotton has fluctuated greatly, and the income of cotton farmers is extremely unstable. The production level of cotton is directly related to the interests of cotton farmers and the development of the textile industry and other related industries. Sowing all cotton seedlings at one time is not only the basis for ensuring high and stable production, but also can greatly save manpower and material resources, which is the premise to maximize the comprehensive benefits of cotton. Therefore, in our province, how to ensure the technology of direct seeding and sowing of cotton seedlings is very important. However, in the traditional...
