Abstract

The invention discloses a clay inhibitor with a delayed coagulation function and a preparation method of the clay adhesive. The clay inhibitor is a product of which the solid content is 40% and is prepared from a star-shaped initiator, methacryloyloxyethyl trimethyl ammonium chloride, an oxidant, a reducing agent and ligand through an ARGET ATRP reaction, wherein the mole ratio of the star-shaped initiator, the methacryloyloxyethyl trimethyl ammonium chloride, the oxidant and the reducing agent to the ligand is 1 to (10-200) to (0.01-0.1) to (0.5-4) to (0.01-0.5). The invention further discloses a preparation method of the inhibitor. A polymerization reaction is carried out at the room temperature, the sensitivity to oxygen is effectively degraded, and the amount of a catalyst is effectively reduced. When the initiator disclosed by the invention is compounded with an industrial polycarboxylate superplasticizer, the adaptability of the polycarboxylate superplasticizer to clay is effectively improved, and relatively high construction requirements are met.
