Abstract

The invention provides an insecticide composition which consists of active components, namely pyriminostrobin and ivermectin. Compared with different compounds with independent activity, the insecticide composition provided by the invention has a remarkable synergistic effect. The insecticide composition is used for preventing or controlling harmful insects, and is particularly applied to control on insects such as panonychus citri, tetranychus cinnabarinus, two-spotted spider mites, pear psylla, aphids, plutella xylostella, rice leaf folders and chilo suppressalis. The invention further provides a method for protecting useful plants and preventing invasion of harmful insects. The invention further provides a method for protecting seeds, seedling roots and twigs and preventing soil and leaf insect invasion.
