Abstract

The method is applied to network safety equipment provided with a firewall, and includes the steps of receiving a first access request message from a Web application firewall (WAF) and obtaining a first source IP address and a first target IP address of the first access request message; under the situation that the first source IP address is a private network IP address of the WAF and the first target IP address is a safe IP address of a Web server, modifying the first source IP address into an outer network IP address ofthe WAF, modifying the first target IP address into a private network IP address of the Web server, and generating a second access request message, wherein the safe IP address is the IP address the route of which is not publish to the exterior; according to the private IP address of the Web server, transmitting the second access request message to the corresponding Web server. According to the safe message transmission method and device, the utilization rate of the WAF can be increased, the WAF networking allocation is simplified, and the cost for erecting the WAF among different virtual routers is saved.
