Problems solved by technology

[0005] Most of the existing optic disc segmentation methods are based on the above methods or a combination of the above methods. Although most of the optic disc feature information can be extracted, due to the many branches of the optic disc vascular network, the contrast between small blood vessels and the background is low, and the boundaries are blurred. It is very difficult to segment the optic disc, and the segmentation accuracy is not ideal, which cannot meet the needs of theoretical research and practical use

Obviously, the described embodiments It is a part of embodiments of the present invention, but not all embodiments. Based on the embodiments of the present invention, all other embodiments obtained by persons of ordinary skill in the art without creative efforts fall within the protection scope of the present invention.

[0030] Corner points are one of the important local features in images, which largely describe the shape of objects in images. The neighborhood where the corners are located is usually a stable and informative region in the image, and these regions may have certain properties, such as rotation invariance, scale invariance, affine invariance, and i...

Abstract

The invention discloses a novel optic disc separation method and system. The method comprises the steps that S100, an angular point detection algorithm is utilized to detect points of interest aroundan optic disc in an eye fundus image, and convex hulls surrounding the points of interest are calculated to extract an optic disc region image; S200, according to a feature similarity between pixel points of the optic disc region image, the pixel points are grouped, and super pixels capable of replacing a large quantity of pixel expression image features are obtained; S300, prior probability distribution is calculated based on the convex hulls and the super pixels, color histograms are subjected to statistical analysis inside and outside the convex hulls respectively, and an observation likelihood probability is calculated; S400, the posterior probability that each pixel point f belongs to an optic disc region is calculated according to the Bayesian theorem, and a posterior probability distribution diagram is obtained; and S500, the optic disc is separated from the eye fundus image based on the posterior probability distribution diagram and through standard Hough Transformation circledetection. By the adoption of the separation strategy from rough to fine, precise separation of the optic disc from the eye fundus image is realized under a Bayesian model framework.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the technical field of medical image processing, in particular to a novel optic disc segmentation method. Background technique [0002] The optic disc is the part of the retina where the visual fibers come together and exit the eyeball, and is the beginning of the optic nerve. It has no visual cells, so it has no vision, and is a physiological blind spot in the field of vision. The central retinal blood vessel enters the fundus from the optic disc. Because the optic nerve is directly connected to the cranial nerves, when there is disease in the brain tissue, it can cause changes in the optic nerve. Therefore, the precise segmentation of the optic disc structure can be used as an auxiliary means for clinicians to diagnose and treat diseases, and then the early diagnosis and prevention of some diseases can be realized through the analysis results of the optic disc. It is of great significance both in theoretical research and c...
