The model prediction torque control method has the advantages that through system sampling and a motor mode, time delay of a digital system is compensated, and a motor reference torque Te* is calculated, so that reference current d-component and q-component are calculated accordingto the maximum torque current ratio; corresponding permanent-magnet torques, reluctance torque components and stator flux linkage d-component and q-component are predicted by the motor model and alternative space voltage vectors; light load and heavy load of the motor are judged, and the optimal voltage vector is solved, in other words, permanent-magnet torque and reluctance torque evaluation functions are used when the motor is in a heavy load condition, and flux linkage vector evaluation functions are used in case of light load; the solved voltage vector is applied to the motor.
