Embodiment Construction

[0021] The present invention will be further explained below in conjunction with the derivation process. The chirp signal is a commonly used radar signal, and the present invention mainly uses the chirp signal as an example to describe the specific implementation.

[0022] First, give the definition of FM Fourier transform:

[0023]

[0024] Among them, l represents the frequency modulation, that is, the slope of the frequency linear transformation; j is an imaginary number; f is the initial frequency. F (l, f) represents the frequency modulation Fourier transform formula; t is the time variable.

[0025] The expression of the chirp signal is:

[0026]

[0027] f 0 Is the initial frequency of the chirp signal whose parameter value is to be estimated, l 0 Is the chirp frequency of the chirp signal whose parameter value is to be estimated.

[0028] Discretization of chirp signal, dt→Ts, Ts is the sampling period; t→nTs, n is the sequence number of f(n) as a function of f(t);

Abstract

The invention discloses a method for performing FM Fourier transform on a radar signal. Firstly continuous FM Fourier transform discretization is performed, thereby obtaining an expression of the discrete FM Fourier transform. Then an index factor in the expression is expanded to a form for performing discrete Fourier transform on a complex number. Then according to the linear property of the discrete Fourier transform, Fourier transform is performed on the real part and the imaginary part of the complex number after expansion. Hereon, for reducing calculation amount, fast Fourier transform isutilized for replacing the discrete Fourier transform. Afterwards the result of the original imaginary part through the fast Fourier transform is multiplied by j, and the obtained result is added with the result of the original real part through fast Fourier transform. Finally an arithmetic formula is arranged for obtaining a complex-number-form result of the discrete FM Fourier transform. The method mainly aims to estimate the parameter of the signal for analyzing components of the signal.

Description

Technical field [0001] This method involves radar signal processing, mainly based on the discrete frequency modulation Fourier transform, and proposes an algorithm that uses fast Fourier transform to realize the discrete frequency modulation Fourier transform. Background technique [0002] A chirp signal refers to a signal whose frequency continuously changes linearly during a duration, and is a commonly used radar signal. Because of its obvious advantages, it is widely used. The chirp signal has the advantages of low peak power, wide operating frequency range, high range resolution, long range, and relatively simple signal processing. [0003] Fourier transform is a commonly used method of signal processing. It moves the signal from the time domain to the frequency domain. After Fourier transform, the frequency spectrum of the signal can be obtained, and then the frequency of the original signal and the amplitude of the frequency can be analyzed. But for the FM signal, it is a v...
