Problems solved by technology

In recent years, the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany and other countries have successively seen the prevalence of virulent strains of FCV. However, there are currently no testing requirements and relevant regulations for experimental cats in the national and local standards for experimental animals.

Abstract

The invention provides a method for detecting feline calicivirus (FCV), wherein sequences of upstream and downstream primers of a used primer pair are respectively shown in SEQ ID NO:1 and SEQ ID NO:2. The filtered primer can guarantee correct pathogeny identification and also can not miss detection of homologous and different strains of pathogenies. Besides, amplified segments are appropriate inlength, can be mutually separated during electrophoresis and are not too discrete, the situation that amplification of long fragments is obstructed after small fragments are preferentially amplified during multiple PCR is avoided, and non-specific amplification products of a primer dimer and the like are fewer. Besides, a fluorescent quantitative reaction system and reaction conditions are optimized, and a fluorescent quantitative PCR detection method of the FCV with relatively high specificity and sensitivity is obtained. Final experiments prove that the fluorescent quantitative PCR method isrelatively high in sensitivity and low in cost due to primer design and selection of a reaction system and can rapidly realize specificity and sensitivity detection on the FCV.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the technical field of molecular detection, and in particular relates to a method for detecting feline calicivirus, that is, the oligonucleotide primers obtained by screening are used to detect feline calicivirus by a SYBR Green I fluorescent quantitative PCR method. Background technique [0002] Feline calicivirus (FCV) infection is a viral respiratory infection in cats. The main manifestations are upper respiratory tract symptoms, biphasic fever, serous and mucous rhinorrhea, conjunctivitis, depression, and some cats can hear respiratory rales. FCV infection is a frequently-occurring disease in cats with high morbidity and low mortality. FCV belongs to the family Caliciviridae in classification, and Calicivirus belongs to the genus Virus. Nucleic acid is single-stranded RNA. FCV is distributed worldwide. It not only infects cats, but also infects all cats, such as tigers, lions, and leopards. It also poses a certain threat...
