Abstract

The method comprises the steps of firstly preprocessing a color blood microscopic image by adopting a medianfiltering method; secondly mapping an initial color space to an HLS color space, thereby obtaining a hue image after conversion; thirdly performing coarse segmentation on the hue image by using a nu-support vector machine-based grayscale image segmentation method, and detecting out all white cells by adopting a layer screening policy and a mathematical morphology method; fourthly performing finesegmentation on each white cell image, namely finishing separation of cell nuclei, cytoplasm and a background, and extracting most representative 47 features for each white cell, the cell nuclei and the cytoplasm; and finally finishing white cell classification by virtue of a nu-support vector machine.
