Abstract

The invention discloses an LF slagging process. The LF slagging process comprises the following steps of heating molten steel; adding calcite particles into the molten steel according to the requiredamount of calcite obtained in advance through calculation; and determining whether the calcite particles need to be continuously added or not by observing the situation of furnace slag, if yes, continuously adding calcite particles into the molten steel, and if not, carrying out a subsequent step. The calcite particles are used as slagging agents. The calcite is a natural mineral, and is free of deliquescence and deterioration, no special storage condition is needed, the use time limit does not exist, and the environment is not polluted. Compared with a traditional mode that a slagging agent and a foaming agent are added separately, the labor amount is reduced, and the processing time is shortened. The CaO slagging agent and the CO2 foaming agent are always added at the same time so that continuous foaming can be ensured, and refining slag with high alkalinity, good fluidity and the good foaming effect can be rapidly formed.
