Abstract

The present invention discloses a measurement method and system of a pavement texture depth. The measurement method comprises the steps of utilizing a profile scanning instrument to carry out the elevation three dimensional scanning on a to-be-measured pavement surface, and obtaining an elevation numerical value of the pavement texture; taking a sanded plane as the reference to establish a reference plane, fitting the pavement surface higher than the reference plane into a fitting surface according to the wheel face envelopes, and using a gap between the fitting surface and the pavement surface lower than the reference plane as a three dimensional concave-convex gap model; and finally using the volume between the fitting surface and the pavement surface lower than the reference plane as the gap volume of the to-be-measured pavement, and using the quotient obtained by using the gap volume to divide the area of the to-be-measured pavement as the pavement texture depth of the to-be-measured pavement. The pavement texture depth obtained by the present invention is high in automation degree and fits the definition, and compared with the conventional various measurement methods, the method has the advantages of being accurate, reliable, rapid and convenient simultaneously.
