Problems solved by technology

[0003] Although a solution is disclosed in DE 10 2013 201 873 A1 in which the escape route is communicated to the person in the form of an image on the mobile device, this solution does not take into account the changing situation during the evacuation

Embodiment Construction

[0019] figure 1 is a schematic diagram of an example situation on a floor of a building 2 from which a safe and efficient full or partial evacuation is required in an emergency situation (eg fire, natural disaster, terrorist attack situation). Here, the expression evacuation refers to the emptying of an area, wherein the area can be a building, a part of a building, a building with adjoining railings or corridors or other structures suitable for the stay of people (e.g. boat). Persons staying in the area to be evacuated must leave the area or search for at least one target point provided there that is considered safe. The techniques presented here are not limited to evacuation from buildings (eg, residential, office and commercial buildings, hotels, stadiums, airport buildings, manufacturing plants). Those skilled in the art know that this technique can also be used for evacuation from other structures, such as boats, for example. In the following examples, building 2 is th...

Abstract

During an evacuation situation in a building (2) that is equipped with an elevator system (1) and in which a multiplicity of fixed point markers (4) are arranged at defined sites, a person (8) has anescape route transmitted to him by means of a mobile device (10). The fixed point markers (4) store data that are receivable by the mobile device (10). An instantaneous position of the mobile device (10) is determinable when the mobile device (10) uses data received from a fixed point marker (4) to access a database (47) in which the data are linked to a site of the fixed point marker (4). The ascertainment of the escape route to a destination (12) is based on the instantaneous position of the mobile device (10). The person (8) is registered on reaching the destination (12) when the mobile device (10) is detected at the destination (12).

Description

technical field [0001] The techniques presented here generally relate to the scheme of evacuation from an area, in particular a multi-storey building in which an elevator system exists. Embodiments of this technology relate to methods and systems for evacuating areas. Background technique [0002] A method for evacuating a building is known, for example, from DE 10 2013 201873 A1. According to this method, the location of the mobile device and thus also the location of the person carrying the mobile device is determined inside the building by means of an indoor location determination system (WLAN node, hotspot, access point). Mobile devices read building plans from signs (QR codes or barcodes) installed in the building. Available escape routes are determined based on the determined position. From the determined current position and the available escape routes, an escape route is determined for the person, for example the fastest route from the current position to the next...
