Abstract

The invention relates to the field of mobile communication, and discloses a user classification-based dynamic pilot allocation method in a massive MIMO system. The method comprises the steps of evenlydividing an orthogonal pilot set provided by the system into three groups; calculating signal strength of each user in three adjacent cells; dividing users of each of the three adjacent cells into edge users and center users according to the signal strength of each user; and allocating an orthogonal pilot group to edge users of the three adjacent cells, and allocating the other two pilot groups not allocated to the edge users of the cell to center users of the three adjacent cells. The pilot allocation method is improved based on the traditional soft pilot reuse method, thereby reducing orthogonal pilot overhead, lowering the inter-cell interference of center users of the adjacent cell on the edge users of the target cell, and improving unlink and downlink SINR of the edge users and channel capacity of the system.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the field of mobile communication, in particular to a dynamic pilot allocation method based on user classification in a large-scale multiple-input multiple-output (Multiple-Input Multiple-Output, MIMO) system. Background technique [0002] The pilot pollution problem does not only exist in massive MIMO (Massive MIMO) systems, but is a common phenomenon in communication systems. Pilot contamination exists both in Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) systems and in Coordinated Multiple Point (COMP) in LTE-Advanced. In the communication of the traditional MIMO system, the problem of pilot pollution also exists, but its impact on the communication of the Massive MIMO system is far greater than that of the traditional MIMO communication. This is because, in a traditional MIMO system, interference from other users inside the cell and interference between cells (pilot pollution) are usually encountered during the communication proces...
