Abstract

A laser energy management device comprises a light splitting device, at least one micro-bending device and a controller. The light splitting device is used for splitting an input laser beam coming from a laser generator into a plurality of laser split beams, and comprises a plurality of split light transmitting channels for transmitting the multiple laser split beams correspondingly. The at leastone micro-bending device is used for enabling the multiple split light transmitting channels to generate micro-bending so as to attenuate the corresponding laser split beams transmitted by the light splitting transmitting channels, and accordingly a plurality of output laser beams are obtained. The controller is used for controlling the micro-bending degree of each split light transmitting channel.

Description

technical field [0001] Embodiments disclosed herein relate to apparatus and methods for laser energy management, and additive manufacturing systems. Background technique [0002] The management and control of laser energy is an important link in laser additive manufacturing technology. In existing laser additive manufacturing methods, a laser beam is usually used to process materials in a "point-to-point" manner. Such a method exists The problem of slow scanning speed and low manufacturing efficiency. [0003] In addition, in the prior art, the projection spot of the laser beam is moved on the platform covered with materials by changing the projection angle of the laser beam. The smaller the angle between the laser beam and the platform, the lower the energy density of the projected spot. Therefore, this method also has a greater limitation on the size of the manufactured object. [0004] Therefore, it is necessary to provide a new device and method for laser energy manage...
