The flow state of the tidal river reach tributary entrance is simulated by adopting a partial river width model, and the deviation between the main stream flow quantity in a physical model and the practical flow quantity caused by the adoption of the partial river width model is reduced through flow quantity compensation. By the adoption of the method, the flow state of the tributary entrance under junction water diversion and drainage conditions canbe simulated accurately, and references and bases are provided for model tests of later similar projects.
