Abstract

The invention discloses a heuristic request scheduling method oriented on delay-sensitive applications in multiple cloud data centres. Influence of a series of factors, such as difference of cloud data centres at different geographical positions and regional difference of the unit bandwidth unit and the unit energy loss cost, on profits of cloud data centre providers is comprehensively consideredin the method. According to the method disclosed by the invention, each application in each cloud data centre is modelled as an M / M / m steady-state queuing system; on this basis, an effect function forconverting the actual response time of an application request into the corresponding revenue is designed; then, on this basis, a mixed integer nonlinear programming model for maximizing the profits of the cloud data centre providers in the multiple cloud data centres is established; and finally, the model is solved by adoption of a bat algorithm based on swarm intelligence. By means of the methoddisclosed by the invention, requests of the multiple delay-sensitive applications can be scheduled in the multiple available cloud data centres; and thus, the profits of the cloud data centre providers are maximized.
