The application discloses a method of realizing an NAS (Network Attached Storage) service by an NAS service node. The method includes: parsing process pool configurations, which are input by a user, to obtain configuration parameters; starting a father process, and enabling the father process to create an NAS service process pool according to the configuration parameters; and when a connection request of a client is received, calling a corresponding service process from the NAS service process pool according to attribute information of the client to process the connection request. According tothe technical solution provided by the application, the NAS service process pool is created through reuse of the father process, complexity of data communication among established service processes is enabled to be greatly reduced, then processing efficiency is improved, and a system resource occupancy rate is decreased; and at the same time, a multi-process multi-thread mode of the NAS service is realized, and robustness of the NAS service is improved.
