Abstract

The invention provides a method for estimating a power spectrum of a harmonic signal by a coherent averaging method. The method includes: (1) segmenting signal time series; (2) adding a window function to each segment of the signal; (3) performing primary discrete Fourier transform on each windowed segmented signal; (4) performing secondary discrete Fourier transform on a complex signal with the same frequency; (5) obtaining the modulo square of the result to obtain a self-power spectrum, or performing conjugating multiplication on the corresponding results of the two signals to obtain a cross-power spectrum; and (6) finally selecting the result corresponding to the maximum amplitude as the power spectrum estimation result of the frequency point. According to the method, not only are the advantages of good real-time and fast calculation of the Welch method segment processing maintained, but also the phase information between the segmented time series is made full use of, and compared with the Welch method, the method improves output signal to noise ratio of harmonic signal power spectrum estimation.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a method for analyzing the power spectrum of a harmonic signal, in particular to a method for estimating the self-power spectrum and cross-power spectrum of the harmonic signal and a method for detecting the harmonic signal in noise. Background technique [0002] The power spectrum estimation methods of harmonic signals can usually be divided into non-parametric estimation and parametric estimation. Parametric power spectrum estimation requires the use of prior knowledge to assume the signal model, while non-parametric estimation does not require any prior knowledge of the signal. For non-parametric power spectrum estimation methods, periodogram method, Welch method and multi-window method are the three most widely used methods. [0003] The periodogram method is the earliest signal power spectrum estimation method based on Fourier transform, which is defined as the square of the modulus of the Fourier transform of the signal,...
