Abstract

The invention discloses a measuring method for a position related geometric error of a rotary table of a numerically-controlled machine tool. The measuring method comprises the following steps: selecting three fixed points on each of the rotary table and a moving shaft, determining a first type of a fixed position according to the six fixed points; rotating the rotary table and recording a first reading of a ball bar, and calculating a position related displacement geometric error; changing the fixed position of a second ball base, to obtain a second type of the fixed position; rotating the rotary table and recording a second reading of the ball bar; and according to the second reading and the position related displacement geometric error, calculating a position related angle geometric error. The method is capable of shielding the mutual interference of each displacement and angle error in the position related geometric errors, and improving the measurement accuracy of the position related geometric errors.
