Benefits of technology

This patented technology improves on existing methods used by industry to remove harmful metals from industrial wastes like chromates or nitrogen compounds during metal finishing processes such as copper deposition. It involves adding calcium hydroxide (Ca(OH)2) instead of ammonia water into an acidic solution containing Ni2+ ion sources at specific temperatures. By controlling this temperature, different types of impurities are removed while other materials remain soluble. These techniques help reduce environmental concerns associated with disposal of these contaminated solutions without causing pollution problems.

Problems solved by technology

The technical problem addressed in this patents relates to improving the efficiency at disposing electrified nickel deposits from various sources like batteries or iron cores without causing environmental concerns during their manufacture processes.

Embodiment 1

[0046] Embodiment 1: process the electroless nickel plating waste water not containing ammonium ion

[0047] The current electroless nickel plating solutions generally do not contain ammonium ions, and the nickel ions, hypophosphite, and COD in the waste water can be treated.

[0048] Step 1. Precipitate nickel ions

[0049] The electroless nickel plating waste water containing 140mg / L of nickel flows into the precipitation reaction tank A from the electroless nickel plating waste water regulating tank, under stirring conditions, add dilute hydrochloric acid to adjust the pH of the electroless nickel plating waste water to 5, and add 20L of precipitant in every ton of waste water; The electroless nickel plating wastewater flows from the sedimentation reaction tank A into the flocculation tank A, and the flocculant is added. sink to the bottom of the sedimentation tank.

[0050] Step 2. Nickel recovery

[0051] Use a sludge pump to pump the sediment at the bottom of the inclin...

Embodiment 2

[0062] Embodiment 2: process the electroless nickel plating waste water containing ammonium ion

[0063] In the current electroless nickel plating process, some electroless nickel plating solutions contain ammonium chloride, and it is necessary to increase the treatment process for ammonium ions.

[0064] Step 1. Precipitate nickel ions

[0065] The electroless nickel plating wastewater containing 70mg / L of nickel flows into the precipitation reaction tank A, under stirring conditions, add dilute hydrochloric acid to adjust the pH of the electroless nickel plating wastewater to 5, and add 10L of precipitant to each ton of wastewater; the electroless nickel plating wastewater flows from the precipitation reaction tank Flow into the flocculation tank A, add flocculant, the amount added is enough to make the sediment aggregate into large particles; the electroless nickel plating wastewater flows from the flocculation tank A into the inclined tube settlement tank A, and the sedime...

Abstract

The invention discloses a treatment method of chemical nickle-plating waste water. The treatment method comprises the following steps: regulating pH of the chemical nickle-plating waste water to 4-6,adding sodium diethyldithioformate to precipitate nickle, adding a flocculating agent to gather precipitated particles, filtering and separating the precipitates; then regulating pH of supernatant liquor to 10-12, and adding hydrogen peroxide for oxidation; for waste water without containing ammonium ions, adding calcium chloride solution; for waste water containing ammonium ions, regulating pH to9-10, adding magnesium chloride solution, then regulating pH of the waste water to 10-12, and then adding the calcium chloride solution; then adding the flocculating agent, separating and filtering to finish treatment. The treatment method of the chemical nickle-plating waste water disclosed by the invention has the beneficial effects that a treatment result meets the requirement of Table 3 in GB21900-2008 Standards for Emission of Electroplating Pollutants, the technical defect of difficult nickel recovery in the traditional one-step precipitation method is overcome, and the obtained nickelprecipitates can be recycled, so that the treatment method has better market application prospect.
