The system comprises a farmland water level monitoring device, a base station device, a data server, a water pump controller, a water pump and a plurality of electromagnetic valves connected with the water pump, wherein the farmland water level monitoring device comprises a plurality of sensor nodes, and farmland water level information collected by the sensor nodes is transmitted to the data server by the base station device; the data server stores a farmland water level threshold that is set according to the requirements of rice cultivation, and the data server determines whether the water level of each farmland is within the set farmland water level threshold range according to the received farmland water level information, if the water level of a field block is lower than the lower limit of the farmland water level threshold, the data server sends a water pump turn-on instruction to the water pump controller to turn on the water pump and simultaneously sends a turn-on instruction to the electromagnetic valve corresponding to the field block to achieve the precision control of the farmland water level.
