The document delivery method based on BIM comprises the following steps: receiving a downloading instruction of an authorized user, wherein the downloading instruction is an instruction including the component encoding information of the document to be delivered; searching for the document to be deliveredfrom a file storage system according to the component encoding information; and sending the document to be delivered to the authorized user, and recording the downloading information of the documentto be delivered, wherein the downloading information includes at least the information of the authorized user and the document delivery status information. The document delivery method and document delivery system based on BIM performs the document delivery based on the BIM document delivery platform; after the authorized user select the required delivery document to be downloaded, the document tobe delivered is searched from the file system according to the downloading instruction to be sent to the user, and the document delivery status of the document to be delivered and the information ofthe authorized user are recorded, so as to monitor whether the document to be delivered is delivered to the corresponding authorized user successfully, therefore, the real-time monitoring of the document delivery process is realized; and compared with the traditional way of delivering the document, the delivery efficiency is higher.
