Fault waveform data of a period of time before and after a fault time are extracted from all fault recording files; fault feature quantity calculation of all primary equipment components is carried out by using primary equipment components as units so as to form intermediate data, so that the own restriction of the fault recording file is eliminated. The waveform data are analyzed from multiple aspects; recording sampling information is digitized and quantized by using different dimensions of feature quantities to obtain multi-dimension fault feature quantities, so that high reliability and quickness are ensured.
