Abstract

The present invention provides a display device and an array substrate thereof. The array substrate comprises a plurality of thin film transistors arranged in an array; the array substrate comprises asubstrate, a first metal layer, a buffer layer, a semiconductor layer, a gate insulating layer, a second metal layer, an interlayer dielectric layer, and a third metal layer, which are sequentially disposed from bottom to top; the first metal layer is used for forming a light shielding portion and a first ground line; the first ground line is disposed around the light shielding portion; the semiconductor layer is used for forming an active layer of the thin film transistor; and the material of the semiconductor layer is low temperature polysilicon. The first metal layer of the array substrateprovided by the present invention is used for forming the light shielding portion and the first ground line; the first ground line is disposed around the light shielding portion; the first ground line is formed in the first metal layer of the array substrate, so that ESD can be effectively prevented at the early stage of the array substrate manufacturing process, thereby avoiding large amounts ofcharges from accumulation to cause explosive damage to the panel edge circuit and improving the product yield.
