The bactericide is prepared by the steps of grinding five medicaments into powder, and compressing the powder into an oral lozenge, wherein the five medicaments are as follows: 20-40 parts of radix scutellariae, 14-25 parts of fructus forsythia, 30-60 parts of ramulus cinnamomi, 15-30 parts of akebia stem and 20-35 parts of herba violae. The bactericide has relatively strong effects on the killing of main pathogenic bacteria in a swimming pool and is capable of effectively killing bacteria entering oral cavities and esophaguses.
