Abstract

The method comprises the following steps of first, creating two or more than two virtual serverson the public cloud and using the virtual servers as Oracle RAC cluster nodes; second, configuring an odd number of storage disks of the same size and mounting the storage disks on the multiple virtual servers separately, and using the storage disks as GRID disks to store Oracle RAC related cluster information; third, configuring multiple storage disks of the same size and mounting the storage disks on two or more than two virtual servers as the Oracle RAC cluster nodes so as to store data of a database; fourth, configuring a Storage IP, a Pub IP, and a Priv IP on the virtual server as the Oracle RAC cluster node; and fifth, mounting all storage disks on other servers with database instances in the Oracle Rac cluster nodes through Storage IP by using an iSCSI protocol.
