Abstract

The invention aims at providing a method for detecting ARP spoofing in the WLAN. The method comprises that if there is no other equipment sharing an MAC address with gateway equipment in the WLAN where a wireless terminal is positioned, present MAC address information of the gateway equipment serves as reference MAC address information; whether the present MAC address information of the gateway equipment is the same with the reference MAC address information is detected in a delayed way; and if the present MAC address information of the gateway equipment is different from the reference MAC address information, it is determined that ARP spoofing occurs in the WLAN. Change of the MAC address is detected actively, so that ARP spoofing can be detected within short time, user time is saved, thedetection efficiency is improved, and the user experience is better.
