Abstract

The invention provides a floating fan for use between shallow water and deep water. The floating fan comprises an upper unit, a floating base, a tension leg mooring system, and an anchoring system; buoyancy is provided to the upper unit by the floating base so that the upper unit can always be positioned over the water surface; the tension leg mooring system is connected between the floating baseand the anchoring system and therefore tensioning connection is kept between the floating base and the anchoring system. According to the invention, only partial length of the floating base is immersed in water, the connection position of the tension leg mooring system and the floating base is also located over the water surface. In this way, the length of the tension leg mooring system is increased nominally, and the practical effect is to increase the compliance of the floating fan in the plane, that is, increase the natural and vertical cycle of the fan (up to 25s), and well avoid the wavenatural cycle range and the 1P, 3P frequency range of the wind wheel.
