Abstract
The invention discloses a structure-enhanced SMC (Sheet Moulding Compound) glass fibre impregnating agent and application thereof in production of twistless roving. The impregnating agent is preparedfrom the following components: a coupling agent, a film forming agent, a lubricating agent, a pH value regulator and water, wherein the coupling agent is a silane coupling agent; the film forming agent is a mixture of non-cross-linked bisphenol A type polyester emulsion, cross-linked unsaturated polyester emulsion and medium-and-high molecular weight bisphenol A type epoxy emulsion. The inventionprovides the application of the impregnating agent in the production of twistless glass fibre roving for a structure-enhanced SMC sheet. The twistless glass fibre roving produced by using the impregnating agent has the advantages of low hairiness, high impregnation speed, high choppability, high production smoothness and high compatibility with enhanced resin, can greatly improve the mechanical strength of a glass fibre enhanced composite material product, and is suitable for an SMC moulding process.
