Abstract

The invention discloses a single-screw extruder for producing starch-based plastic. The single-screw extruder comprises the following modules including a hopper for storing starch and resin, a hopperfor plant fibers, a screw for conveying materials, a gear pump for flow stabilization of melt, a static mixer for homogenization and a nano infrared heating ring. The starch of the single-screw extruder enters a conveying section from the hopper, and enters a compression section from the conveying section under transmitting of the screw. The materials enter the gear pump from the compression section, the materials enter a suction chamber of the gear pump, along with rotation of a gear, the melt is brought into a discharge chamber from the two sides, and the melt is extruded out of the discharge chamber and sent to an outlet pipe in a pressed manner. A gear pump outlet pipe enters the static mixer. The single-screw extruder has the beneficial effects that the gear pump conveys the melt in aflow stabilizing and pressure stabilizing manner, repeated splitting and joining of the melt are carried out by the static mixer, and good homogenization of the melt is achieved. The starch-based material blending effect is improved, and the product appearance and performance stability are improved.
