The control circuit comprises a first input for receiving a first signal representative of a current flowing through a transistor in a low dropout linear regulator circuit; a second input for receiving a second signal representative of the rectified bus voltage; an output terminal coupled to the control terminal of the transistor, and the control circuit is configured to control the current flowing through the transistor based on the first signal and the second signal. The maximum current of the first halfperiod is larger than the maximum current of the second half period in one conduction period of the thyristor dimmer. The control circuit, the LED linear driving circuit and the LED linear driving method used in the LED linear driving system can reduce the circuit power consumption and improve the circuit efficiency.
