Abstract

The invention provides a high-frequency ground wave radar wave field forming method based on a ratio of a first-order peak to a second-order peak. The method comprises the following steps: dividing afirst-order peak area from an echo Doppler spectrum; figuring a power ratio of the first-order peak to the corresponding second-order peak of each distance, and a first-order peak arrival angle; establishing a reference power ratio-wave height model through wave height data of a reference buoy in combination with the power ratio of the position of the reference buoy; correcting the reference powerratio-wave height model of each distance according to an attenuation model to obtain a corrected power ratio-wave height model; substituting the power ratio of each distance into the corrected powerratio-wave height model to obtain the wave height of each distance; and performing interpolation and smoothing on the wave height of each distance to obtain a final wave field. The high-frequency ground wave radar wave field forming method provided by the invention has the advantages of good spatial resolution and high measurement precision; the result of the wave field is more stable.
