Abstract

The invention relates to reasonable arch axis of an open web deck type arch bridge and a determination method thereof. The determination method comprises the following steps: dividing a dead load of the open web deck type arch bridge into dead weight of a bridge deck system, dead weight of a column and dead weight of a main arch ring; serializing the discrete dead weight of the column to a continuous load in a linear relationship with coordinates of the main arch ring by equivalent membrane tension assumption; serializing a discrete concentrated force transferred to the main arch ring by the bridge deck system to a horizontal uniformly distributed load; and linearly combining three pressure lines of the dead weight of the bridge deck system, the dead weight of the column and the dead weight of the main arch ring according to the proportions of the thrusts in total thrust by analyzing the pressure lines of the dead weight of the bridge deck system, the dead weight of the column and thedead weight of the main arch ring and the thrust of the main arch to obtain the reasonable arch axis of the open web deck type arch bridge.
