Abstract

The invention relates to the technical field of medicines and provides application of a reagent for inhibiting ectopic expression of a PIWIL2 gene in preparing anti-tumor medicines, and application ofa protein antibody for preventing ectopic expression of the PIWIL2 gene in preparing anti-tumor medicines. The invention further provides the reagent for inhibiting ectopic expression of the PIWIL2 gene, or an anti-tumor medicine composition of the protein antibody for inhibiting ectopic expression of the PIWIL2 gene. Tests show that occurrence of mouse tumor can be effectively inhibited when human or mouse tumor cells are treated with KAO3 in inoculation. In addition, by injecting KAO3 into established lymphoma, breast cancer, lung cancer and cervical cancer, tumor growth can be remarkably inhibited, and the survival time of tumor-bearing mice can be prolonged. The inhibition effect to KAO3 is related to KAO3 specific antigen expressed on the surfaces of tumor cells. AKO3 is capable of inducing tumor cell apoptosis by retarding cell cycles, inhibiting DNA (Deoxyribonucleic Acid) synthesis and activating complements at a G2 / M stage. Therefore, anti-PL2L60mAb(KAO3) is a potential treatment candidate medicine for treating cancer.
