Abstract

The invention discloses a time synchronization compensation method between multi-level devices. The method comprises: receiving, from the device, a synchronization message from a master device, and calculating a time count difference between the master and the slave device; calculating a frequency adjustment factor of the slave device by using different weights for the time count difference according to different time count differences and the time count of the master device; and updating a frequency compensation value according to the obtained frequency adjustment factor to achieve synchronization between the master and slave devices. The method of the invention uses a frequency adjustment strategy for performing controlling by using different weights in the case of different frequency deviations and time deviations, which enables error growth to increase linearly with the increase of the number of cascades. The invention effectively overcomes the defect that the error growth of the traditional method increases exponentially with the number of cascades, and improves the synchronization precision between single hops.
