Abstract

The invention provides a system and a method of testing high power microwave pulse signal field strength in a closed capsule. A high gain directional antenna 1 is used as a receiving terminal of a weak signal in the closed capsule, an interface of the high gain directional antenna 1 is connected with an input port of a low noise amplifier 3, an output port of the low noise amplifier 3 is connectedwith an input port of a high speed microwave detector 5, an output port of the high speed microwave detector 5 is connected with an input port of an oscillograph 6, the low noise amplifier 3 amplifies small signal power received by the high gain directional antenna 1 linearly to a working range of the next level of high speed microwave detector 5 so as to obtain a narrow pulse signal, the high speed microwave detector 5 converts power of the narrow pulse signal into a voltage signal and then tests the voltage signal by using an oscillograph 7. When the high power pulse signal detects shield performance of the closed capsule, low internal signal power of the closed capsule and narrow pulse cause test problems.
